Before we close the chapter on another great year of partnership and company growth, we want to send out our last newsletter of the DECADE! Thanks to all of you for making 2019 great, and here’s to more solutions ahead as we answer the challenges of 2020 and beyond.
New Logo and Brand for Club Prophet
What better way to start the new decade than with a fresh coat of paint and a new brand/logo design for Club Prophet. We’re entering the Roaring 20’s with a shortened brand name (everyone always calls us Club Prophet anyway so let’s give the people what they want) and a newer, cleaner logo. You will start to see the updated logo in the coming weeks at our trade shows, website redesign, social networks, and the software itself.
Agenda for Users Conference Taking Shape
As we approach one month out from our 2020 Club Prophet Users Conference, the final agenda is taking shape and we are excited to raise the curtain on this action-packed day. The agenda will include a full review of the new features and functions within the Club Prophet 2020 software, new integration releases with our various partners (Gallus/Club Prophet Precheck In, 121Marketing Campaign Pilot, Payroc credit card features to name a few), the User idea “Shark Tank” session, a marketing Best Practices session, a Dynamic Pricing session, a panel of CPS Air/mobile point-of-sale, and a sneak peek of Pellucid’s “State of the Industry” that conference attendees get to see before anyone else in the industry. Specific times and panelists will be announced soon, and we have an optional golf event at Southern Dunes Golf Club to network with other CPS customers and enjoy a great day on one of the best courses in Florida. If you haven’t reserved your spot at the conference yet, you can register HERE right now.
EZLinks and GolfNow...What Now?
A lot of people in the industry have asked us for our opinion about the recent acquisition of EZLinks by GolfNow and their parent corporation Comcast/NBC. For those that don’t know you can click HERE for the full scoop, but this acquisition was simply part of the larger PGA Tour television rights deal announced with both CBS and with Comcast/NBC. This acquisition wasn’t about tee times, but certainly the selling of tee times will be affected. We now have the two largest discount purveyors in the history of golf joining forces, and that will surely mean that the smarter golf course operators (like our Club Prophet clients) may have to step up their game. But not to worry, Club Prophet won’t be standing idly by. We will continue to produce the best software for golf course owners and operators, as well as work with various industry entities on new and progressive solutions. As always with this saga, there will be more to come but know that Club Prophet is even more resolute to help keep our course partners one step ahead of the discounting death spiral. Over the next few weeks, stay on the lookout for our upcoming blog series about the Myths of Barter and the various ways Club Prophet can help you come out on top!
PGA Merchandise Show - Booth #3929
Along with our new logo and color scheme will come a new trade show booth at this year’s PGA Merchandise Show. We will be at Booth #3929 in the same location as the last few years, and right next to some of our partners like 121 Marketing and Gallus Golf. But if you’re looking for the older booth and logo, they won’t be there…but Tom and Rick’s smiling faces will still greet you just like always!
From our work family to yours, we truly value your business and we will continue to do everything we can to make the next decade even better.
We hope to see you all in Orlando at the Users Conference, and please let us know if you need anything at any time by contacting our Support Team via Support Chat, Support email, or by phone at 888-793-4333. Happy Holidays and cheers to a great 2020!
