DON'T FALL VICTIM TO FRAUDULANT ACTIVITY

We have received a few reports of fraudulent activity with our Club Prophet customers.  A bad actor is calling our customers and claiming to be from our support department and indicating that they need remote access to a PC at the facility.  Then, they proceed to run large credit card returns that are NOT legitimate.  So far, they are using “TeamViewer” to connect and instruct the customers to download TeamViewer.

Club Prophet uses BOMGAR for remote connectivity and has never used TeamViewer for remote support connections.  So, that is your first warning sign.  Further, if you feel uneasy or suspicious on an inbound call from CP support, end the call and immediately call our support line to verify that it was truly CP contacting you.

We hope this bad actor is identified and stopped in the very near future and will keep you posted with any new developments.

We can be reached at (724)-270-0200 or via email at support@cps.golf.
